This image shows a portion of the Appalachian Trail running uphill through the woods over a set of massive flat stones. The lowest third of the image is occupied by a single stone, dappled with light and dotted here and there with moss and fallen pine needles. The stone is fully in focus and we have an excellent view of the details of its granular surface. Just below the midpoint of the image a set of jumbled tree roots crosses the path, and trees spring up on both sides of the image, framing the path. Slightly further on, a second stone appears, similar to the first, and the path wanders over it to disappear in the trees surrounding it, which begin to rise in earnest. The image is finished by the beautiful green canopy of the trees, dappled with light and

Aprovechando que hoy las olas no pegan fuerte, el piragüista se dirige (disfrutando del momento compartido) al paso entre las rocas. La luz del atardecer incide y rebota sobre el agua hacia nuestro punto de vista aportando ese típico fulgor tan refrescante y anticipadamente veraniego.
