Jagex "forgot" to buff the SunSpear 😭 again in today's OSRS update. Some Sailing 🌊🌊🌊🌊⛵🌊🌊🌊 updates here too, specifically for Deep Sea Trawling 🚢, but they STILL don't address the two biggest pain points for me: losing netted fish on a disconnect & emptying fish crates.

2026 has been the year 🗓️ of me ticking ✅ off huge multi-year OSRS grinds. Earlier I green-logged 💚📓 Aerial Fishing 🦅. Now I've completed the Morytania Elite Diary I can finally go back to Slayer (my account goal from ~2.5yrs ago) *Obviously* I couldn't do Slayer without the full exp BoneCrusher 😅.

Am I the only one who thinks the OSRS blog 🗞️ schedule 🗓️ is kinda nuts? It felt weird to me that the rewards blog for Wyrmscraig (I'm calling this island 🏝️ Craig from now on) and Fractured Archive released on the same day, 7th July. Wouldn't you want to space these out to foster better discussion?

I feel like I've spent most of my posts this past year or so cataloguing Jagex's Ls in relation to OSRS but oh well, here we go again. It is absolutely galling to me, as a follower of Guthix ⚖️ almighty, that the Guthix themed armour set has been dropped from Raids 4: The Fractured Archive. 😔

I've been gifted the Warhammer 40k Introductory Set (super excited to build, paint 🎨 & fight 😁) which sent me to the attic 🪜 in search 🔎 of my old kit. Found 1000pts of (terribly) painted Space Marines (>15yrs old), a somehow unbuilt Inquisition Razorback (!?) & 1k pts of Dark Elves (not pictured).

I've seen some chatter about post-quest resolutions after OSRS' finale to the Vampyre storyline, Blood Moon Rises. I've thought since Song of the Elves that I'd actually be ok with post-Grandmaster quests. They don't need to be Master or above. Give us lore 📚 for Gwenith above Priff, for example.

No surprise Sony plans to ditch disks 💿, it was always their plan in order to finally clampdown on the 2nd hand market & complete their market monopoly. I expect little impact on the ps5 and see this as essentially a soft announcement of the ps6 for 2028. We still shouldn't accept this.

Somewhere there is an old (>10yrs) laptop 💻 of mine. On that laptop were all my notes for a game I was planning (called Intervention!), as well as the pixel art & sprites I'd made myself...
