I don’t care where it is, a hundred+ year old, ‘one story’ 2 bed, 1 bath house with barely a yard and questionable stairs to the ‘attic’, that needs a ton of work because the kitchen is something out of a 60’s home decor catalog, should not be almost HALF A MILLION DOLLARS.

Having that existential crisis of realizing I can now categorize myself as late 30’s.

Took a nap and had a weird as hell dream about a mountain erupting like a volcano but it was all snow and then all the snow started to rise and and shift like an avalanche and people were yelling at us to climb, but it was hard because we were also in snow. And the snow got closer and then I woke up

In one of those moods where I laid on the floor for an hour with Mozart on full blast in my noise cancelling headphones. 👍🏻

They fertilized the farm behind my house, on the most humid day of the year, on day 2 of 3 of a heat advisory. You can only imagine the smell. It’s bad. It’s so very bad.

I actually put myself out of comfort zone reading this one. I’m usually not too into horror and the body horror aspect of this had me taking breaks, but the characters being doomed by the narrative won me over in the long run.

Today’s book rec is Hazelthorn by C.G. Drews. A YA Gothic horror about a young man who inherits the estate of his reclusive guardian and all its secrets. This one has a lot of plant based body horror, as a heads up!

I really truly wish the dnd movie had done better. Give me Chris Pine back as a disaster bard.

I went from having read 25 books in February to only 2 books in May. What happened here?? (I can tell you, it was deadline hell and I'm about to do it again for June).

By the middle of the summer I will have colored four 250+ page graphic novels in a year and half. I’m Very Tired.
