Waiting out the weather that has its grasp on me. the down side to #Migraine for me is that i have little to no control for them happening, but can predict with some accuracy 2-3 days in advance.

I resent having to think so much about, hear so much about and read so much about another country's #elections. There's way too much riding on this goofy business, and attention is sorely needed elsewhere. What a years-long waste of time and energy world-wide.

Panic sets in when you realize you forgot the “Keep Refrigerated” migraine medication injector inside the car. Luckily it was raining and not hot sun. i usually take it out of the fridge and let it warm up to room before using. Guess i’m using it 3 days early than throw it out ($678 dose)

And not that i hate Halloween, but it’s sort of lost its magic to ultra Commercialisation. gone are the kids making their own costumes and it being a festive event. now it’s prepackaged outfits and kids acting like it’s a chore to say trick or treat, with some saying that’s it?

you know there must be economic hard times when even the candy companies are having massive sales before Halloween is even here to try and sell of the massive stock.

As my mum is now in Palliative care, and i know her time is coming near. i spent most of the day writing a song to my mother. sadly my singing ability isn’t the best even with Melodyne correction. Perhaps i just stick with baritone talking vocals as i refuse to use AI generated singing.

i am not big on Nestle Chocolate as it’s mostly smarties. should i get the Hershey's Chocolate Assorted 100 pk, or Mars Chocolate Variety Pack both seem to have candy i like and let’s face it, if the lights are off then no kids come and i can eat what’s left

Growing up my parents taught how actions have consequences. Now they are old and doing stupid things and then wondering why they are stuck. The problem is you can’t stop them from doing actions but do you then leave them with their own consequences?

i spent the morning sweeping and cleaning the wooden patio deck for winter. put on another coat of the curex oil finish so that the fall rain and winter ice and snow don’t get into the wood. it was a mammoth project to install it last year so i’d rather keep it lasting as long as possible.

i have been listening to Children of Time by @aptshadow.bsky.social and find it quite interesting in how the whole social construct of evolution and the rights movement are intertwined into this syfi novel. portrayed through the eyes of spider evolution. really great book. recommended
