Every Æther I’ve created takes inspiration from something near and dear to me, Often works from anime, to film & comic books. With this particular Æther the works of Akira Toriyama and Todd Macfarlane played a prominent role in its visual homage.
The glorification of the unshakable starving Artist that never gives up even when all else fails is ultimately dehumanizing. The romanticism of struggle in that for an Artist to become worthy of success they must first go through a crucible of misery has always been dangerous.
