Into Film England

The core Into Film programme is free for UK state schools, colleges and other youth settings, thanks to support from the BFI, awarding National Lottery good cause funding, and through other key funders including Cinema First and Northern Ireland Screen.

Great to work with Year 10 students at City Academy Bristol this week delivering careers workshops on sustainability in the screen industries. Thanks to Leverage Point Entertainment and Florence Thompson for sharing invaluable insights, and to the Year 10 students for their curiosity and enthusiasm!

Lovely quote from one of our participants at the Festival of Play at University of Westminster yesterday who took part in our Storybuilder Games Workshop. “I loved the experience here as it was very fun and entertaining and also helps to open doors to the future.”

Today we brought together our Education Ambassadors – educators and youth sector professionals from across the UK who help shape and improve our programmes. Their expertise and feedback play a vital role in ensuring our work remains relevant, inclusive and impactful for young people. 🎬❤️ #IntoFilmEdu

We had a fantastic time at Mounts Bay Academy in Penzance recently, delivering a documentary filmmaking workshop for students with filmmaker Barbara Santi, and a CPD session for staff on curricular filmmaking. We can't wait to continue working in Penzance over the coming months!

Across 20–21st May, the England team hopped on the hovercraft to the Isle of Wight to deliver filmmaking workshops and teacher CPD in partnership with Creative Island! Students built confidence, teamwork and camera skills, while teachers explored accessible ways to bring filmmaking into learning. 🎬
