Introvert, polymath, friend and husband to Craig. Lives deep in the Yorkshire Dales. Vintage HiFi specialist, Sneakerhead, rail fan and lover of Brutalism. (And I do consultancy stuff for a living!)
I won't be popular for saying it, but a city centre without the roar of engines and associated fumes is really quite nice.
A quick trip to the Brutalist monster that is The Barbican. Gorgeous!
Something else I love about living up here in the Dales.. Discovering tiny pieces of our industrial history in the unlikeliest of locations.
And they wonder why we're all setting up camp over here. One simple post over there and I've an immediate following from one post, single follower ladies offering their services.
Not my creation, but as the snow melts and the Sunday evening spectre approaches, we all need a wry smile 😄
Haven't played with my #tascam DAT for a while. Still sounds like it did as new, even through an average technics Hifi with Mission 70s.
This was a far better experience than I expected. A £60/night room overlooking Glasgow Central at Motel One.. Warm and insanely comfortable public areas too. 💯💯
Hey @nickabbot.bsky.social it's been a beautifully sunny day in #glasgow and much warmer than down here in Yorkshire!
There's always time for a local heritage centre visit when visiting #dent. Great brekkie too. Also, with a major road being closed for over a year, they really need your support, so please pop in! #cumbria #yorkshiredales #settleandcarlisle
@garethdennis.bsky.social at what point would a XC Voyager from Edinburgh to Penzance be deemed to be dangerously overcrowded. Asking for a tired-legged friend.
