With the library becoming busier over term 3, access to external University of London undergraduates and taught postgraduates is suspended between Monday 27 April and Friday 29 May to prioritise study space use for UCL students.

Ignore the red labels. Our overnight loans policy in the IOE has been discontinued. All books previously restricted to overnight, one-day, or short loan periods have been converted to standard 8-week loans. This means no more early morning rushes to get them back to us, and no more hourly fines.

Half a million plastic bottles saved! When Inara, a volunteering officer at the Student Union, filled her bottle at the library's water fountain, the counter clicked over to 500,000. The fountain, installed in 2019, has helped the library community avoid using half a million single-use bottles. 🌏 💦
