Knowing smirks & plenty of “oh, I so feel that” while reading The Unwritten CV of a Plant Scientist by Kolesnikova & Wood. Very well put, @plantaeofficial.bsky.social!😄👏 Recommended read - plant researchers, take some lighthearted inspo to value your real skills.💪💚 #plantsci #Pflanzenforschung

#JustIn on Plantae: The Unwritten CV of a Plant Scientist. In this new piece, ASPB Plantae Fellows Anastasia Kolesnikova and Charlay Wood offer a more human picture of plant science than most people ever get to see in a plant scientist's CV. buff.ly/tOdWD3v #PlantScience

This year’s IPB symposium was all about science, right? Well - almost😉! It was also about Steffen Abel’s farewell. Though he didn’t want any accolades, his department followed his saying to sometimes ignore your superior’s advice & honored his contributions to science, the IPB, & career support.🥂

We may disagree with Darcy McRose on whether plants or microbes rule the world 😉💚. But thanks for taking us into the world of redox-active metabolites (RAMs) in the rhizosphere. Fascinating results about microbes countering the plant RAMs, coumarins, with specific efflux pumps. #IPB2026
