The IPDA Thesis Prize 2026 is awarded to Dr Elizabeth McClure for her work on student teachers' emotions on school placement. A runner up prize was given to Dr David Johnston for work on the role of zoo & aquarium professional development in teacher learning. Congratulations to both!

On day 1 of #IPDA2026 we heard insights from our international Chairs. We revisted the history of established IPDA countries, shared highlights from newer associations and were offered opportunities to collaborate. Our international input grows each year and offers a unique angle to our event.
