We have three very excited and very happy coaches of Team Ipsley graduates setting off from Drayton Manor for their last ever journey to Ipsley! Lots of lovely memories being shared of a fantastic day and four fabulous years together. Coaches should arrive back at approximately 5.45.
We are having such a brilliant day with Year 8 at Drayton Manor that we have been gifted an extra 45 minutes of fun! Unfortunately, the coaches have alerted us they will be later than expected. We are now anticipating getting back to school around 5.30. We will keep you updated here of any changes.
Year 6 are taking part in the first Ipsley World Cup! Who will win? Thanks to Mr Bunn and Mr Evans for organising it all!

Year 6 had a fabulous day exploring Warwick Castle today.

The KS3 Cricket team won their game against Woodrush! They played brilliantly and showed fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork. We are on their way back to Ipsley now. ETA 5:24pm

What a brilliant two days - Year 8 have done us so proud, demonstrating the very best of Team Ipsley. We are due back at school between 6.15 and 6.30pm. If we have any further updates to our arrival time, we will post them here.
We are having a fascinating day at Chester Zoo, learning all about animals in their different habitats and global conservation!
After a good night’s rest, we have woken up in Chester to a delicious breakfast and an exciting morning meeting about our day ahead!
It’s been a brilliant first day of team building, adventure and exploration at the Crocky Trail in Chester - Year 8 have had a fantastic time so far, and are now relaxing after a very busy afternoon of activities!
Our pupils have been an absolute credit to our school community. So many members of the public commented on their maturity and manners. Please ask them all about the trip - they have so many stories to tell and they can’t wait to share them with you. Thank you, and au revoir, Team Ipsley!
And, just like that, Team Ipsley’s French adventure for 2026 comes to a close. What an amazing experience, with so many special memories made together. Beaches, meals, museums, bakeries, markets, snails… we have seen and done it all! Thank you for supporting this incredible opportunity.
Our ETA is saying 10.50pm, so pupils will be reunited with their phones in 15 minutes’ time. Please wait outside the school gates. Mr Williams will then explain how you can collect your child, your passport & their luggage. Thank you for being patient as we unload all fifty passengers & luggage!
Team Ipsley has landed in the UK! The SatNav is currently saying we will be back at Ipsley at 11pm. We will update this time on BlueSky if it changes. We will give pupils their phones 30 minutes before we reach home so that they can contact you also. See you soon!

The ferry home has been another brilliant experience - delicious free food, a fierce air hockey tournament, shopping sprees… and even a magical vending machine!
With our last activity completed, it’s time to say au revoir to France! Just one more adventure on the ferry before our journey home in the UK begins…
Our fantastic final stop took us to the Dynamo Museum, where Miss Clements helped to guide us through the story of Dunkirk.
With links to History, French, Science, Geography, English and Art, pupils drew on their cross-curricular skills and knowledge to delve into this immersive learning experience. Team Ipsley will always remember them.
Pupils and staff looked into the past and learned about the horrors that have taken place before us. It was astounding to learn about what our ancestors endured, and how recently these devastating events took place.
The V2 bunker gave us time to reflect and learn from the past. We were amazed and horrified by the scale of the cruelty we discovered.
I think we need to let Miss Saul know we have a new member of Team Ipsley to bring back home with us!
Time to sample some French snacks and sweets before we tour our first museum of the day - Tagada, madelines and cat’s tongues have gone down a storm!
We are off to begin our very historical final day - au musée, Team Ipsley! Next stop, the WWII V2 bunker.
