🔴J’afar Kavoosi Roozbahani, a 30-year-old worker from Meshkindasht, was shot by security forces on motorcycles while crossing the street. Witnesses report that the shooters were chanting "Heydar, Heydar" when they shot him in the heart from behind.
🔴 According to a published report, the death sentence of Arvin Kheirkhah, one of the detainees of the January 2026 nationwide protests, was carried out on Saturday morning, August 1, 2026, in Shahroud Prison.

🔴 On the 10th day of their strike, prisoners in Unit 2 of Karaj’s Ghezel Hesar Prison reiterated their commitment to continue until executions are halted. In messages, they appealed to the Iranian people, media, human rights organizations, and the UN Special Rapporteur to “be their voice.”

🔴On July 9, 2009, 18-year-old student #MohammadKamrani was arrested near Vali-e-Asr Square in Tehran and transferred to the notorious Kahrizak detention center. A few days later, instead of his promised release, his family was confronted with his semi-conscious body at the hospital.
🔴The protest by prisoners in Unit 2 of Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj against the carrying out of death sentences has entered its third day. 🔸Through a hunger strike, a sit-in, and holding handwritten signs with the slogan "No to Execution," these prisoners are demanding a halt to the executions.
🔴Mohammad Amini Dehaqani, Arrested During the January Protests, Executed 🔸Mizan News Agency, the official media outlet of Iran’s Judiciary, announced that #MohammadAminiDehaqani, who was arrested during the nationwide protests of January 2026, was executed in Isfahan on July 15, 2026.

🔴A journalist Murdered for Capturing the Truth: 23 Years of Impunity 🔸On this day 23 years ago, Zahra (Ziba) Kazemi, an Iranian-Canadian journalist, was arrested while photographing a gathering of prisoners' families outside Evin Prison.
🔴The Islamic Republic and armed vigilantes crushed July 1999 student protests against restrictions on the press following a violent night raid on student dormitories at Tehran University, leaving at least 8 people dead and arresting at least 1,500 protesters.
🔴After years of enduring deprivation and security pressure, Kurdish activist Farahmand Sadeq-Vaziri tried to flee Iran with his wife and two children. However, he was arrested before crossing the border andwas tortured so severely he died in detention.
🔴In July 2007, Ja'far Kiani was secretly stoned to death in Aghcheh Kand, Takestan, despite a stay of execution order. According to the defense attorney, the sentence was issued without any confession from the accused or the presence of witnesses٫ relying solely on the “knowledge of the judge.”
🔴 State violence during the nationwide protests this January was not limited to only those actively participating in demonstrations. As the family of four was driving home from a gathering, security forces opened fire on their vehicle. A live round struck the mother in the heart.
🔴Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Abolghassem Salavati, has sentenced protesters Mr. #MehdiNazer and his fiancée, Ms. #MahnazChardoli, to death and 10 years in prison.
🔴At only 17 years old, #MobinYaqubzadeh, who had lost his mother a year earlier, was shot dead by security forces during the protests in Khoshk-e Bijar, Rasht, on January 7, 2026.
