To finish the #ESHE2026 before the General Assembly, Pierre Gousset is presenting his research on phylogeny and postcranial anatomy.
The poster sessions at the #ESHE2026 included many interesting and various research including the one led by Laurent Pallas on femoral morphology and positional modes in Catarrhini.
Many interesting talks and presentations yesterday at the #ESHE2026 including presentations of two of our members. @juliaramendi.bsky.social presented her work on the femur of Little Foot and Tara Chapman presented hers on the reconstruction of Neandertal skeleton.
Some of our members are at the #ESHE2026 in Burgos to present their research. We are looking forward to attending the various presentations 😇 @eshesociety.bsky.social

Did our ancestors simply stand up to become bipeds? Not quite. In this new @theconversation.com, Jérémy Duveau and I explore what recent paleoanthropological discoveries reveal about the evolution of bipedalism 👣🦴 theconversation.com/non-nos-ance... @irnbipedalism.bsky.social @pacea.bsky.social

Delighted to share my new communication at the @sapanthropologie.bsky.social meeting, in Geneva. What about using so-called "biomechanical" traits for phylogenetic questions in paleoanthropology? @univbordeaux.bsky.social @pacea.bsky.social 🦴☠️🧬🦍 Join us, it's here: www.sapweb.fr/index.php/fr...
For the second day of #JournéesdelaSAP, we woke up with a presentation of @quentin-cosnefroy.bsky.social on the structure of long bones as a taxonomic proxy in paleoanthropology.
For the first day of the #JournéesdelaSAP, @fdruelle.bsky.social presented his work on reconstructing the positional reportoire of fossil hominins.
Some of our members are this week in Geveva for the annual meetings of the @sapanthropologie.bsky.social #JournéesdelaSAP
Did Neandertals choose their prey when practicing cannibalism?🍖 Check out our new study, just published in Scientific Reports - @natureportfolio.nature.com! We provide the strongest evidence to date for a highly selective cannibalism at the end of Neandertal lineage, 41-45.000 years ago. 1/7
