this is my Main issue w neptunia too throughout the game. Black Heart (boss) was genuinely insufferable and the way the game is balanced only on EXE moves just kinda sucks the fun out of creating combos for me

the bosses are just. such an immense difficulty spike compared to the rest of the dungeon. they almost always feel really overtuned they usually have such high def that any weaker party members or multi-hit moves just deal almost no damage, so only high damage hits have any value whatsoever
