i definitely don't love most remakes but i'm all in on the Ocarina of Time remake. for one thing, i loathe the N64 graphic style, always have, even when the console was brand new. i much prefer the new look. and i love the different ways you can input the ocarina songs, including with a real ocarina
i love Rowan Ellis, easily one of my favorite video essayists, and this is one of her best videos to date. extremely poignant for anyone who is both queer and neurodivergent, i highly recommend it!

A Nightmare on Elm Street is a great horror movie, but for my money New Nightmare is the crown jewel of the Elm Street franchise and it’s so annoying that WB doesn’t release it on its own. I don’t want to pay $120 for the 2-3 Elm St titles worth watching in 4k

watched I Want Your Sex last night. i really enjoyed it! Olivia Wilde is so fucking good, she ran rings around everyone else in the film. i also appreciated that the film is unapologetically horny. feels like we're seeing a pushback against the sexless big franchise films we've been seeing forever
