Fascinating material property charts from "Hierarchically structured bioinspired nanocomposites": www.researchgate.net/publication/... Natural silk is outstanding, even when compared to carbon nanotubes and graphene-enhanced fibers.

This is relevant to the Space Elevator (SE) as payloads could be transferred to/from the cycler for a minimum-fuel transit ... ... but some delta-V is usually needed as the Cycler wouldn't be in the equatorial plane. A question for @adamsspaceresearch.bsky.social : what's the worst-case delta-V ?
