Supergene control of chiral development in mirror-image flowers
How genes determine the development of chiral structures is a fascinating question. The reciprocal placement of female and male organs on opposite sides of mirror-image flowers promotes efficient cros...

My postdoc preprint is now online @biorxiv-plants.bsky.social. We established HYDRA, a shoot regeneration assay in Arabidopsis without exogenous hormones, and show that photosynthesis-derived carbon drives regeneration via RBR1 pathway–mediated cell cycle activation. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
Photosynthesis-derived carbon gates cell cycle activation to enable hormone-autonomous shoot regeneration
Shoot regeneration is a powerful model for cell fate reprogramming but how it occurs in nature remains poorly understood because studies in Arabidopsis thaliana conventionally rely on in vitro assays ...

Integration of single nucleus RNA-seq and bulk RNA-seq reveals gene regulatory networks for vascular connection between parasitic plants and host plants - Journal of Plant Research
The facultative parasitic plant Phtheirospermum japonicum forms a specialized organ, the haustorium, to invade its host, Arabidopsis thaliana, establishing a vascular connection via the formation of a...
