i think they believe that because i try so hard to be open and vulnerable that means they know everything i've been through. my life didn't start at 18 years old. i just don't talk about my childhood because it hurts too much and nobody is ever curious enough to ask.

PTSD symptoms have been really bad today. i think this Cornell stuff is getting under my skin pretty bad because of how it's making me think about my own experiences.
i hope that when the people i talk about here read about the case at Cornell, they realise they would at best be one of the 56 who knew and did nothing and would at worst be one of the 7 who participated.

you gotta realise at some point that a large part of the reason rape is so common is because very few people actually sees it as a bad thing. not just rapists themselves, not just men, but the average person.

if you know that somebody is a rapist and you choose to act like you don't, you are complicit. you are part of why people rape. because they know people like you will let them get away with it.

in the past 3 days, i have slept a collective 8 hours. i hate this!
one thing i am proud of about myself is that whilst i am incredibly willing to forgive, i also won't ever abandon myself. i expect real accountability and change and if i don't see it, i act accordingly.
i think when i move it's going to be to a town just outside a major city so that it's easier to get away from the noise
