At the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich there’s a furniture gallery where you can sit on the furniture!

Another location for modern stained glass. These are the in Zürich Fraumünster, by Marc Chagall, who was 83 years old when the windows were inaugurated in 1970. The close-up is a self portrait of the artist. More info here: fraumuenster.ch/-4/visit~376...

It’s the birthday of László Moholy-Nagy, born on 20 July 1895. After leaving Germany in 1936 he came to live at the Isokon, before departing for the US in 1937. He was the subject of our exhibition in 2018: isokongallery.org/blogs/exhibi... and also the designer of the logo on our popular T-shirt.
