"Day after day the wild withers away. Yet he endures, clever, agile and lonely"
I'll be at Magicon Amsterdam next week. If anyone wants to come say hello, get some cards signed or buy some playmats/prints/tokens feel free to come by my booth !
Another timelapse ! This one still needs a lot of work but I really enjoy how it looks right now. I'll try to print some tokens using it for Magicon Amsterdam Speed is x60
A timelapse of a 40 minute painting I did for my game. Tried to work on something a bit more abstract and graphic.

"The flesh may endure, but the soul will yield" Illustration made for my game Carnholt
I made a video game ! Carnholt is a Roguelike deckbuilder I created by myself using my illustrations. Venture into the depths of the oldest forest and kill a god that refused to die I hope you will enjoy it.
Carnholt fuses the addictive deckbuilding of Slay the Spire with deep tactical battles inspired by chess. Explore a dark and mysterious world brought to life by a Magic: The Gathering artist, and encounter ancient creatures lurking in its shadows. #PitchYaGame
"The woman is long gone, but the beast she became keeps her purpose. Endlessly etching the whispers of The great Ones" Five years later, and this is still one of my favorite paintings. It was a big breakthrough for me at the time. One of my first illustrations that felt like professional work.

I still feel like this oil painting is one of my best. The first sketch was digital and the final painting is oil on canvas. I really like how the underpainting shines through
The capsule art I made for my game Carnholt
Making my own card game meant that I had to create more abstract illustrations for the spells. It was a nice challenge and it pushed me to explore new ideas. I'll probably try to do more complex pieces like that in the future
How I make VFX for my game It's all about layering effects and using animations principles with some flashy visuals
Sketch -> Final illustration -> Card Making illustrations for my own game was a really interesting process. with this painting I wanted to depict an ancient being that drew its power from decay. Something powerful and sacred

Video games only need to look right from one angle ! I mostly used fixed points of view and projected textures, so my game ends up looking a bit funny whenever I move the camera.
Just wanted to share some gameplay footage of my game Carnholt! I wanted it to feel like a mix of MTG Commander and chess
