I’m working more on studying horror art, does anyone have any recommendations? I’m really inspired by Salvador Dali, Dr. Nowhere, Junji Ito, Dan Peacock, and other ‘surreal’ creators in this vein.

I get so frustrated sometimes because in my heart I want to be a horror artist but when I put pen to paper it always comes out bouncy and cute—it is impossible to break myself out of no matter how hard I try. I love drawing cute things but my home is in horror and id love to express it
