Years ago I was watching the news and suddenly they showed the execution of Saddam Hussein. No real warning that it was coming. Whether he deserved to die is besides the point. Seeing shit like that scars your soul. Something to consider if you want to watch the state kill a man.
The season finale of Lanterns was good. REALLY good. I'm pretty sure it might rank as the best DC live action show I've ever seen. John Stewart is going to be a major part of the DCU going forward, and I imagine he'll be in the JL, since I think Gunn is setting up the JLU lineup.
