The marsh was really pretty this morning after all the rain. I spent a bit of time this morning clearing branches off the sidewalk with the grandma I befriended. She said they're a tripping hazard (especially for elder ppl and anyone with mobility issues) and led her to fall down before.

Happy Valentines! My partner and I made felt shrimp for each other last night from jyangarts pattern. The legs on mine were too long so it looked like it was galloping. From Sidecar Doughnuts: huckleberry cake, vegan strawberry matcha cake, and heart-shaped chocolate malasada w/ strawberry filling.

Year of the horse girl

The last truely wild horse, Przewalski's horses are not directly related to modern domesticated horses. They went functionally extinct in the wild due to over hunting, but thanks to a successful captive breeding program they have been reintroduced to their native home of Central Asia.

Horses are believed to have been domesticated in Central Asia over 6000 years ago, and now can be found all over the world in domestic and feral populations.

Believed to be the direct ancestors of domesticated donkeys, Wild Asses are hardy animals suited to life in the deserts on the Horn of Africa. They are critically endangered due to over hunting, habitat loss and interbreeding with domesticated species.

After much scientific debate, the Zebra's distinct black and white stripes are now believed to help deter bites from disease carrying insects. Unlike their more docile relatives, the Zebra has never been successfully domesticated owing to their more aggressive and unpredictable temperaments.

Ube con mais latte from Tamistea matched perfectly with my Momonga latte art trinket box toy. It was good! A bit sweet. I had Smoking Tiger's sweet corn latte back in December and it was good too! I love corn-- I loved dipping my McDonald's fries in hot corn potage soup in Taiwan.
