reminder that a proper strangle (blood choke) will render someone unconscious in 3-8seconds and an air choke will do the same in under 90. if you maintain pressure beyond that, manslaughter is a ridiculously lenient charge. you don’t “accidentally” strangle someone for 2minutes.

1. the second screen theory of shows should just be background noise while people scroll on their phones is a creative failure 2. betting subscribers won’t leave if you cancel your popular shows after 1-2 seasons erodes viewer loyalty and trust everyone knows this but execs.

my self-tape practice is i won’t do more than 3 takes but if for some reason i’m/you’re struggling, just shut the camera off and work the scene for a couple of minutes. take the pressure off. then when you feel like you’ve solved whatever issue you were having, tape it again.
