The Ring Nebula (M57 or NGC 6720) is a planetary nebula visible in the northern constellation of Lyra; it lies approximately 2,000 light-years from Earth and has a diameter of about two light-years. It is one of the most famous nebulae. Captured last night in Turin with a 9-minute exposure.
