I cast Dress Down. I Impending'd Overlord of the Balemurk. However it did not enter as a vanilla creature with no counters on it. Posted in the MTGO Discord and made a forum post already - according to Tabak's post this is a bug. I think there's something powerful here. Hopefully it gets fixed.

The Legacy Showcase results have affirmed my suspicion over the years that the best thing to be doing in Legacy is to be a format + deck specialist. You should pick a deck and stick with it. Knowing the decision trees of 25+ matchups vs knowing how to play a handful of decks is infinitely better.

The things that always draw me back to Legacy, relative to other formats, is that things can be so explosive that it takes so many crisp micro-decisions and intimate format/card knowledge to pull wins out of the blue. It's the format that makes me feel the most rewarded for doing my homework.
