I enjoyed PMD games very much so I figured the Chocobo Dungeon games would be a good time, but while there is some charm with the characters and the stories the gameplay is frustrating to the extreme. Mystery Dungeon games tend to be reliant on luck and these games are particularly punishing.

Final Fantasy Dimensions has the dubious distinction of being one of the few non-live service mobile-only games in the franchise, and while it's better than all the gacha games it's nothing to write home about. Tries to emulate classic FFs, 5 in particular, but falls short in just about every aspect

My Digimon games project is currently on hold but I did start the "retrospective" with the original Digimon World games. I plan to continue with the Digimon Story series and end with some miscellaneous games like Next Order, Survive and Rumble Arena...eventually.
Another "retrospective", this time on the Dragon Quest series. This was a much longer and more scattershot project, playing a game here and there over a decade or so. I'm still not sure if I would call myself a fan of DQ but I do have some newfound appreciation for this grandfather of JRPGs.
Despite liking the Spyro games I had only played the PS1 trilogy until two years ago when I decided to play the rest of them. In a row. Then made this...I called it a retrospective comic but it's really a collection of mini reviews attached to low effort fan art.
A silly little comic on Final Fantasy XIV that was supposed to be a lot bigger but I realized I didn't really have any ideas to make it last long. Maybe I'll continue these with a comic strip or two some day.
