I’m thinking of learning very basic words in ASL, directions, keywords for things around the zoo, and our animals. I’ve noticed a few guests signing, and feel bad each time when I can’t help. It would be nice to be able to communicate with them, too. Even if not fluent, but enough to help them.
This is a lot like what I saw last night, but more horizontal rather than curved. Around the edges, it was extremely hard for me to read whatever my mom texted me. I’ve never experienced this and genuinely was sure I was going to die in my sleep.

Feeling off still right now but not as bad. Just… Off. Don’t want to but an urgent care or ER because no insurance… Fucking American dream!
So long as I feel better later, plans are still on to show my friend Labyrinth for the first time this evening. Have about 9 hours till then, so it’s plenty of time to rest, sleep a bit, and see how I feel before then.
Had to call off today. Doing 8 days in a row, and not feeling great from that suspected migraine last night, I just couldn’t do it. So day 5 of 8 in a row was a call off. 3 more then I get a little peace.

Two of my coworkers were injured at work today when our train derailed. Nothing severe, thankfully. But the train has felt extremely rough lately, customers and other staff members have noticed it. This is concerning, so the train will be closed for a while.
I accidentally revved my engine at security at work, and was mortified, this morning. I often have to wait for them to open the front gates to get in. Forgot I was in park. So he opened the gate. And when he was clear, I stepped on the gas. I immediately apologized. But yeah, I’m mortified.
I need to find out if they’re still allowing staff to dress up for our Halloween events at work. Heard they may stop. And I have an idea for my costume, but don’t want to buy things for it just to not be able to wear it. I want to be Wilbur from AC.

I had a dream about Izzy (Pirate) and some other character, no idea who? Izzy was in this essentially hand knit crop top. Other character wanted it off him. Izzy was complaining that he would take it off but it took him a day of crunches to fit in it, and the fabric was twisted around his nipples 😂

I got a complaint against me at work because a kid cried after I asked them not to sit on the wall of the stingray habitat. I wasn’t mean. I didn’t yell or swear. I just said “we need to keep both feet on the floor, for safety, please.” And she cried. And the parents complained. Supervisor assured
I found out not one but BOTH of my newer local friends haven’t seen Labyrinth. I need to get them together with me to watch it! I can recite it forwards and backwards, every single line. I’m not exaggerating.

Dude. The same person has blocked me and unblocked me 3 times. 2 of them being today. What is their issue with me? Leave me blocked or leave me unblocked. Tired of getting notified about it. I know not everyone in every fandom will get along, but it also is annoying to see in THIS fandom.
