Izzy is trying to take a nap, but she has to keep one eye on Mom to make sure I didn’t disappear! I quickly took her picture to catch the moment. Then she closed her eye and was sound asleep. #keepinganeyeonmom #dogsofbluesky

Deer alert! So many deer just walking about in the neighborhoods of Port Townsend, Fort Worden and Coupeville. They are tame and don’t seem to mind us. Izzy is being good and using her whispering voice! This is special seeing deer, we don’t have any at home. #deeralert #somanydeerroamingaround
Look what we found on our walk in downtown Port Townsend! Izzy is posing on a bronze sculpture, Salish Sea Circle, by the artist Gerald Tsutakawa. Gerald is also the artist who did “The Mitt” at Safeco field (TMobile). #porttowsend #bronzesculpture #artistgeraldtsutakawa #dogsofbluesky #schnauzer
Enjoying the good weather and walking on the beach at Port Townsend last week. Had fun in the sand! Good thing we were there when the tide was out. Went back a couple of days later and the beach was gone. #porttownsend #walkatthebeach #beautifulday #messyschnauzerbeard
Where is my Dad? Izzy is on watch because Dad disappeared and went inside the store. She is being very good and is not using her noisy schnauzer voice! The window is opened and she hears people, carts, cars going by. #schnauzeronwatch #whereismydad #dogsofbluesky
Izzy’s favorite routine after breakfast is to rest on her rug by the sliding door, soaking up the morning sun and watching the horses and birds in the pasture. #miniatureschnauzer #sunpuddling #watchinghorsesandbirds #favoriteroutine #dogsofbluesky

I just missed this family of 5 raccoons. I told my mom I heard something outside just before my morning walk. Mom said she is glad I didn’t see them. She said I would have woken up the whole neighborhood! #schnauzers #miniatureschnauzer #dogsofbluesky #raccoons
