YSUBassoon@bassoonysu.bsky.social · 2w agoWith my AC failing at the beginning of the heat domes this month, sending the temp inside most of my apartment to 90°F and my office to 94°F, I have been unable to apply for many jobs this month, but the only response to my roughly 80 applications to date has been rejection. I now have $42.
It's been difficult to talk about this, but since I was fired from my job on March 17, I have been unable to find a new job. I have applied for about 60 jobs to date, and the few I've gotten a response from have all been rejections. I was able to cash out my 401(k), but there was only $2400 in it.
