People talk about Skubal’s numbers since coming back from the Flexor Tendon surgery, let’s go back a little further. Starting in 2022, his second full season, Skubal has a .685 w% 2.77 ERA, 539:88 K:BB, 146 ERA+, 2.45 FIP, 0.966 WHIP and 12.0 WAR over 78 starts.

Keider Montero is absolutely unwatchable against any team not named the Colorado Rockies and now he gets more time due to Reese Olson getting hurt. What an absolute nightmare.
@chrisbrown0914.bsky.social you mentioned that the Tigers tend not to beat up on starters, but the break down is innings 1-3: 87 Runs, 4-6: 53 Runs, 7-9: 64 Runs. They’re beating up all sorts of pitchers, but it was bullpen guys on much of this last trip.
@sportz5176.bsky.social I’m with you on Tork v Mize. Tork’s underlying metrics are nearly uniformly good to elite with a little blue. Mize’s underlying are pretty even splits between between good and bad but it’s all really muted except the run value on the Split.
Those are rookie numbers. Need to pump them up.

@chrisfafalios.bsky.social I was just listening to the Gangstas Paradise episode of Chris DeMakes a Podcast, and I totally agree that the choral ending just makes sense. It reminds me a lot of the ending of Under the Bridge from a few years earlier.
