I don’t know, my favorite blatant Politico disinformation was when they said all the info on Project 2025 was false because the president they rated as the worst liar ever said it wasn’t true with zero non-partisan sources to corroborate.

We're nearing the 1st anniversary of my favorite piece of absurd disinformation from Politico, which claimed after the Trump assassination attempt that the guy who called his opponents "vermin" had changed his ways and developed a "new softness."

1/Why does everyone want to trade Clark, McGonigle and Liranzo. The number of players in MLB who are worth any combination of those four names in Paul Skenes, and even he could be had for less. There wasn’t a SINGLE top 100 prospect moved at last year’s deadline. We’re not moving ours.

@tigersmlreport.bsky.social people are really concerned about Colt Keith’s pull field power, but you can’t force the pitcher to throw you a pullable pitch. He’s hitting .415/.415/.887/1.030 to LF this season, and .436/.415/.615/1.302 to RF so it seems pretty obvious that they just want the long ball

Tigers fans seem VERY concerned about Riley Greene’s Ks, here are his numbers for all of last year vs through July 7 this year .262/.348/.479/.827 (133) 24 HR, 74 RBI .286/.340/.539/.880 (145) 22 HR, 71 RBI I will trade 8 points of OBP for 60 points of Slug all day every day.

People talk about Skubal’s numbers since coming back from the Flexor Tendon surgery, let’s go back a little further. Starting in 2022, his second full season, Skubal has a .685 w% 2.77 ERA, 539:88 K:BB, 146 ERA+, 2.45 FIP, 0.966 WHIP and 12.0 WAR over 78 starts.

Last year everyone acted like the reason the ALC had three teams in the playoffs was because of the White Sox sucking so bad. This year, no one talks about the NLW that way when they’re literally the worst division in baseball ALC: .5156 NLE: .5156 NLC: .5118 ALW: .4934 ALE: .4876 NLW: .4762

In 3 starts with Rogers, Skubal has 16.1 IP (5.1 per start), 5.51 ERA, 10 R, 4 HR, 18:5 K:BB In 7 starts with Dingler, Skubal has 43.1 IP (6 per start), 1.87 ERA, 7 R, 2 HR, 61:2 K:BB

Keider Montero is absolutely unwatchable against any team not named the Colorado Rockies and now he gets more time due to Reese Olson getting hurt. What an absolute nightmare.

@sportz5176.bsky.social I’m with you on Tork v Mize. Tork’s underlying metrics are nearly uniformly good to elite with a little blue. Mize’s underlying are pretty even splits between between good and bad but it’s all really muted except the run value on the Split.

People losing their minds about Chase Lee’s addition to the Tigers Major League roster all seem to be forgetting how Brant Hurter (amongst other marquee pitchers of Pitching Chaos) was pitching in Toledo before the call up.
