Jeryn is a dragon who comes from a distant barrier dimension. When he tried to practice higher spells (typically cast without the use of a Spellweapon and used by divine beings), he had his original wings cut down and was outcast. He soon returned to his home and burned it down in a blind rage, shattering his Spellblade in the process. He now travels between barrier dimensions, hoping to embetter Hunters by making them face their worst fears

Finished a Play through of Starfox Zero earlier and I'm pretty Jealous of the Wolfen's walker mode. It was honestly pretty cool to 1v1 Wolf in walker mode for the last bit of the fight though and it's probably my favourite Star Fox game just below 2.

Made some Apple & Blackberry Crumble cookies earlier (My phone camera isn't doing these justice)! Prim seems to like them... (Recipe in alt text!) #treasurehuntersofthestars #oc #doodle

A cut out of a red panda oc of mine, Primrose Salt, sat in front of a misshapen oat cookie

Recipe:
(the fruit was bagged/ tubbed from previous years, so I didn't weight it out, but a couple handfuls should do!)

Apples (cubed)
Blackberries
2 cups Flour
2 cups Oats
3/4 cup Sugar
1 tbsp Cinnamon
6 Oz margarine (not entirely sure on this, but 4 Oz wasn't enough)
3 tbsp Honey/ Golden Syrup

If frozen, run the fruit under a tap to get rid of any ice, then bake it in the oven at the lowest temperature for a few hours to dry it out a little (or in the microwave for about 5-7 minutes)

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F

Mix the oats, flour, sugar & cinnamon together in a bowl

Melt the margarine and honey/ syrup together in a pan, and then pour it into the dry mix and stir together until no flour remains.

Place the "dough" (I used an ice cream scoop, but it doesn't really matter) onto a tray lined with baking parchment, leaving some room between them

Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until they're somewhat firm to the touch.

Wait about 5 minutes for the cookies to firm up and then move them onto a cooling rack

Once they're cooled or warm enough to handle, enjoy!

Dahlia lives on Star Island with her partner, Rico, and is Primrose's older sister. Like Prim, she loves baking, and likes to make stuff for others. She always makes sure anyone who visits doesn't leave without having eaten, or at least having taken something with them. Whenever she isn't baking, she helps Rico with the fishing and boat maintenance, and is also (unknowingly) friends with the island's Goddess of Land, Maple. When Hollie fell through from Mirage, Dahlia and Rico took her in until she unexpectedly left when Jonah took care of the Nihilux creatures, having taken a portal back to her homeworld with Aries. Dahlia was pretty upset about this for weeks, so she was beside herself with joy when Hollie was able to visit again through normal means

She gets on extremely well with Prim, and even took care of her when she was injured during a pirate raid

Primrose grew up on Star Island, and is Dahlia's younger sister. She shares her sister's love of baking and cooking (always jumping at the chance to try new recipes or experiment, unlike Dahlia who uses tried-and-true recipes) and joined Wren's Perch not long after it was built. She has grown pretty close to Niamh and Seraphina over the years and has become something of a mother to them. She may go out adventuring from time to time, gathering inspiration from other places, and wields a Staff Spellblade.

If she knows Seraph is staying up for a long time, she usually brings her something before she goes bed.

Seraphina is a close friend of Niamh and helps her run the Wren's Perch Tavern in the "Starlight's Harbour" Barrier Dimension. While she does occasionally go on expeditions with Niamh, she mainly stays behind at the tavern, working on art pieces to hang up around the tavern (or her own personal stuff, though she sometimes goes quiet when asked about it) or making sure that everything is growing properly in the Tavern's garden (She has an interest in Botany too). Seraph always seems to be tired, as she often pulls all-nighters to get stages of her art or research done and is borderline insomniac at this point, drinking strong coffees to stay awake (despite Niamh's insistence that she gets proper rest). Her claws, hair and fur are generally unkempt though she does take good care of herself despite everything else. When adventuring, Seph wields a Halberd Spellblade.

Shortly before meeting Niamh, she inadvertently ruined a relationship she was in. While she appears to cope with it, Niamh can't help but feel that it is the reason Seraph stays up so late, perhaps trying to prove herself to her.

Eris is Rooton's Goddess of Chaos, and is rather unpredictable. When she got bored of casting spells, she asked the Goddess of Time (Aion) to show her some of the weapons mortals would create and pleaded her to give her a revolver (which shoots actual bullets, which she can enchant with arcane energy if she so wishes). When she found out that Arkha formed a pact with a mortal (Kira), she got jealous and taught Jeriah about Dark Magic (knowing that he is conflicted about bringing his dead sister back, and thus would not be fit to handle it). She did somewhat regret doing this when it drove Jordyn and Dorin apart. A while later, she got bored of the peace between Rooton and Veridia, and drove the latter's king insane (as well as a good handful of Nilo's men). This got slightly out of hand when they sought to reawaken Taros and use him as a weapon, but she let things play out. While Eris may be morally dubious at times, she isn't largely malicious and just likes to keep things interesting, even if bad things have to happen. She loves annoying her brother, Ordane (The God of Order), with her unpredictability and antics.

Aregyn (Lore in alt text!) #talesfromrooton #oc #drawing

Aregyn is a tangible extension of the Void from which the universe emerged. They spent several eons shaping the material and then let it do its thing, occasionally guiding it if something wasn't quite right. After some time, Aregyn created the other gods to help manage various aspects of the universe. Later on, they realised that things got boring if they were allowed to exist forever, and created the rest of the Stygian deities (Cinnea (Death), Arkha (Underworld), Kyrin (Travel/ Ferryman of Souls)) and the God of Destruction (Taros). Taros would eventually grow more and more insatiable in his destruction, so Aregyn and Corona sealed him away on Serith (Rooton's world) and hoped that no mortal or deity would be foolish enough to reawaken it. They possess a book that contains infinite knowledge, which they sometimes share with their brethren or any mortals who get the chance to encounter them, which can range from knowledge that is otherwise unobtainable, to useless facts. During their spare time (which is plentiful), they engage in any creative hobbies (baking, painting, sculpting, etc)

Nilo Scaleheart, King of Rooton! (Lore in alt text) #talesfromrooton #oc #drawing

Nilo Scaleheart is the current ruler of the continent of Rooton, and resides in the palace in Rootea. He was originally the captain of the Royal Guard, during the entirety of the Beast Crisis (a calamity 30 years ago, wherein a Druid terrorised settlements across the Kingdom. Nilo was there for most of the conflict, but often returned home alone from battles) and was crowned King by the God of Monarchs, Corona, when his father passed several years later, even though he wanted to remain Captain. He has since proven to be a good King, maintaining good relations with the neighboring continent, Verdia, until they become hostile for some unknown reason...

Nilo wields a Cerician Tidebreaker Greatsword, a weapon used in warfare to damage large ships from up-close or to break apart seige implements. The strength he gained from wielding it was what allowed him to return home from his battles, and he makes sure that every swing honors those he lost.

He meets Jordyn some time after Verdia declares war, as he needs to find an ancient ruin near Pinegrove, Jordyn's home village, and asks for his assistance, he is also present for Taros' awakening and assists in his defeat.

His design is somewhat based off of Leo Whitefang from Guilty Gear

Aisha is a mercenary who hails from the mountain village of Calon, mainly hunting beasts as her quarry. She wields an Artificer's Gunlance (a weapon so powerful, that it is classified as a siege weapon. Its mana charging works in the same way as Jordyn's Gunblade) and willingly had her arms replaced with enchanted prosthetics so that she could swing it and take hits to the shield with relative ease. Aisha is pretty brash and is an adrenaline junkie, but she ultimately respects the creatures she slays.

An anthropomorphic Wolf/ Harpy (A half-bird creature from mythology), wearing a top, loincloth and various jewellery.

Kira is a Wolf-Harpy from the Southern Shardcliffs. As a teen, she was exiled for refusing to engage in hunting practices and for secretly practicing arcane arts. In an attempt to prove herself, she ventured down into the underworld to ask for Arkha's (the goddess of the underworld) blessing and to form a warlock pact. From this pact, she gained immortality and her arcane abilities were amplified. Over the course of a couple hundred years, she built a citadel at Azure Lake and used it to teach others arcane arts.

Redesigning my Tales from Rooton guys! Jordyn Garren (Lore in alt text!) #talesfromrooton #oc #drawing

Jordyn is a Wolf who grew up in Pinegrove, but ran away following a Wendigo attack. While running, he collapsed in a field and reawoke in the Azure Citadel. After he'd recovered from the initial trauma of the attack, he took up artificing and originally used a rifle until he had to seal a friend (Jeriah) who had become corrupted from wielding Dark Magic (he then broke the weapon and cast it into the lake, before giving his friend, Dorin, an immortality pendant in case the two of them had to deal with him in the future). He later forged an Artificer Gunblade that fills up its mana phials from kinetic impacts, which he prefers to his own rifle. Later on his travels into the Old World (in search of a town known as "Tanner's Lawn"), he would save a Fae from several beasts, who took him in and offered him a place to stay to repay the debt, and the two eventually fell in love.
