Art by @jabarah.bsky.social With the recently new the firey-chain werewolf Cadejos in DC Comics getting some spotlight, it reminded me of OTHER anthro-themed characters who were broguth on... and dropped off unceremoniously. This is dedicated to ALL underused Fairybaits in ALL companies! 🔥⛓️🐺💫

A comic of DC Comics' furrybait anthro characters who were spotlighted but then dropped. Panel 1 has Cadejos, a Firey werewolf like chacter who is now part of the Justice League, looking cofident Cadejos: "Okay, now that I am a Leaguer, just a matter of time before I take spotlight and get fleshed out in the company!" Panel 2: Cadejos now turns around to see Tomcat from the 2000s JSA run, along with the goof Anubis from Blue Beetle/JSA enjoying a soda with a crazystraws, and AnimalLad, a Legion of Superheroes character who is stuck as a anthro lion in a Superman inspired-suit in a more recent Justice Society storyarc that he BARELY appeared or did anything in there. Cadejos hope being a more spotlighted and developed character is now nearly dashed
