I think in terms of being faithful to Onimusha, the game mostly gets there, but completely misses the mark on puzzle designs. The puzzles in this game are awful. That's the one thing I wish a sequel would get right, cuz I definitely want a sequel. Miyamoto Musashi is my GOAT

77. Onimusha: Way of the Sword (9/10) For my money, this is the best game Capcom has put out this year. Yes it has the AAA-isms, the level design has bad sign posting, the content bloat and mostly forgettable music. This combat system and the boss design is some of the most fun I've had this year

I never do these, cuz I always know a lot of what happens due to leaks, but this time around I actually don't know so I made one. The only ones I've heard rumors about is Wario Land, OoT Remake having Monolith Soft co-deving, Super Metroid and Ravenous and the Star Fox "Adventure" game.

The Old Bailey in London is a historic building, primarily because Meiji-era defense attorney Ryuunosuke Naruhodo won countless legal battles against his rival Barok Van Zieks there! Centuries later his descendent would follow in his footsteps in the majority-Shinto areas of Los Angeles, California

If gamers knew to back quality, I wouldn't have to keep telling people that Void Stranger was secretly the best game that came out in 2023. They'd already know. This is a callous subpost to a video that made me angry. Another 10 million to Palworld.

"They should make Marios like Sunshine again" My brother in christ, they've literally put out 4 Splatoon games with 2 amazing DLC campaigns. Those are the actual spiritual successors to Sunshine that you're asking for.

Vinny brought it up again, but I find it very funny that streamers being called out for killing in Undertale or (playing their own way) was such a huge deal to them they either stopped and won't play the games again or never started to begin with.

every time a youtuber talks about a videogame genre they ‘hate’, i should get to smack them with a rubber hammer until they deepen their position and say something interesting instead.

There's truly nothing more demotivating about trying to continue past 1 chapter of Three Houses, when upon coming back to the monastery, you're met with a million blinking interactions to do for lore and relationship raising. It's like... c'mon man...

Gone back to Musicbee and resurrected an old music folder I've had since I was a teen. Also because Nintendo won't add it to Nintendo Music, I just got it myself lololol

I'm 10 hours into my Fire Emblem Three Houses, and I'm enjoying my time with it a lot. I have a couple notes so far from my experience.

Bro next year is gonna be the last FF7R entry and KH4. If this happened when I was younger, I would've exploded with excitement.

I do wish Square would've gone a little more stylized for KH4. Sora being hyperreal even in disney worlds, clashes a bit. It makes sense in Quadratum, but the contrast is a bit much. Maybe it will make sense, the more we figure out about Quadratum, cuz I assume the disney worlds are tied to that hub

Every time I pick up Mario Sunshine for a replay, fatigue sets in about 20 shines in and I wanna turn it off. I just don't like the level design in that game, and a lot of the mission design is so repetitious with repeat bosses over and over that take forever and aren't fun to fight.
