@cykele.ro Immediately the first thing I admire and aspire to is how you’re able to so fluidly talk about @retcon.app and your journey building it!! I got GitKraken earlier this year because I wanted a GUI to do git things quicker. But even that still has its difficulties. Maybe I’ll try yours out!!

Can any developers out there who #buildinpublic let me know when I'll finally feel somewhat calm or normal again after sharing stuff into the world??? I'm such a bundle of nerves! #Shipaton
EXCITING (nerve-racking 😭) NEWS. MY FIRST APP EVER JUST GOT APPROVED AND IT'S NOW LIVE!!! (In the US, Canada, and UK for now, because I had no idea what I was doing!) ENDLESS NERVOUSNESS, but I have so many people to thank for this. Made it just in time for #Shipaton Day 4 of 60! #BuildInPublic

#Shipaton Day 3 of 60: My app was approved for release on the App Store today! Haven't released it yet because <reasons we stay in our own heads>, but I know I have to soon! I also did another thing for myself and wrote an additional reflection today on being public online and stuff. #BuildInPublic
Trying in Public
I don't want to be afraid to try in public anymore!

Yesterday, easing into #Shipaton Day 2 of 60 by taking some time to write. Weekends are designated off days and tougher to get stuff done, but did a write-up of my experience at #SwiftRockies! :) (Wow I must have been exhausted because I have no idea why I said it was Aug 8 in my last post)

#Shipaton Update 1/60: It’s Aug 8. Which means there are ~60 more days until the Sep 30 deadline. I’ve decided I’m gonna participate in this whole #BuildInPublic thing. Off to the races this coming Monday, with a substantial plan in the works. Today, resubmitted my app to the App Store for review!
@revenuecat.com @charliemchapman.com In order to get the #Shipaton Ship Kit, do our RC and Devpost account emails need to match? Just now signed up for both, but haven't gotten the participant form yet! 👀
3 things I publicly commit to in the next 7 days: 1. Write and share about my experience at Swift Rockies '26 (Outstanding) 2. Review and publish notes about what I now know about Swift Concurrency (not enough, but do it anyway) 3. Actively process thoughts I've had/been having about AI (finally)
I just got rejected from my first App Store review submission ever. Was super nervous at first but this has got to be a rite of passage. Excited to be a part of the club, and now off to Swift Rockies! 😎
Look at who I just ran into at the AiOS meetup at #wwdc26 - it’s @jace.bsky.social !
A month ago, @peterfriese.dev turned the @swift.org language into a typeset PDF. Today I turned it into a physical print textbook. This was such a fun project! Words cannot describe how immensely grateful I am this reference now exists in my hands. Learning is now more accessible to me. Thank you!!
On the topic of AI... I keep thinking about this article. A lot. Like many things, the answer to what AI coding costs you is nuanced. But what it costs _me_ is... also nuanced, and it is now something I am actively thinking about day to day. However unlike AI, I'm not able to rush my thoughts on it.

What's the effect of the prolonged AI usage among coders and is it tracked correctly, if it all?

This is soooo cool!! It took me a while to notice it but when I did omg. Also, @joshwcomeau.com that reveal slider is amazing! Would you be able to share how you did that?!

I dunno when or where it’s worth mentioning this (probably everywhere), but I don’t use AI to create any stuff I post online (unless explicitly mentioned, in which case it’s usually comedic/satirical). I first learned about the /ai page from @cassidoo.co . I intend to make my own at some point!

I've been on a bit of a social media hiatus, but I've written a new post about something that's been on my mind a lot lately localghost.dev/blog/stop-ge...

RSS is still a treasure. I just switched to @netnewswire.com the other day, and it is excellent! And they just launched 7.0 of the iOS app today with Liquid Glass :)

Sketch 🤝 Claude Great with an MCP server We shipped our MCP server back in October last year. Here are five (of many!) things we’ve been using it for 🧵 ↓ (We’re big Claude Code fans here, but you can use any MCP-compatible client)
I really believe that we should support smaller Not Huge™ companies if we can. It's really nice to know that @sketch.com is investing more into developing community this year. We need more content on Sketch! Can't wait to learn and grow with them, and seeing what they come up with on this front.
Decided to do a writeup about my experience chasing down an annoying Ticketmaster account authentication bug. Doesn't look like @ticketmaster.com is active here. They do have an account though, so I'll tag them here. Here's to hoping someone who works there fixes it! #LearnInPublic #BuildInPublic

There's a persistent bug on macOS where keyboard shortcuts assigned to shortcuts in the Shortcuts app don't work in certain apps. Which apps? Who knows. I don't! So I figured out a solution with BetterTouchTools and wrote up a short guide. Hopefully it helps someone! #LearnInPublic #BuildInPublic
