I wouldnt trust Musk, Branson or Bezos to watch a household pet for an hour but we let them detonate rockets all over the globe and now on the moon simply because they're rich.
Its funny how they're trying to make the point that Rod Liddle was a person worth mourning but in boosting mean posts they have to admit to their readers that he beat his pregnant partner and admitted to being a would-be pedophile.

Badenoch's approach to the nazi councillor story felt odd until I read that he runs an political AI slop account on Twitter then it all made perfect sense She's got the Poster's Madness and thinks a great deal of the electorate will revolt if she deselects a literal nazi because he has X followers
Badenoch is framing this as 'a second chance' for her nazi candidate which is interesting because: A) she's an authoritarian ghoul about as interested in restorative justice as Javert B) this plan blows up if he does 1 <one> nazi thing in his career

Realistically a griffin would be way too heavy to fly as a lion's body and a bird's head. Either it would have entirely hollow bones and weigh about 3 stone or it would be flightless. Like a kind of lion-turkey.

Brilliant letter from Stuart Thompson to Jeremy Clarkson about his comments that benefit claimants should write weekly thank you letters to tax payers detailing how they spend their benefits each week.
Rod Liddle is about as working class as the commentariat can get (went to a northern comprehensive) and because of that I've got a sneaking suspicion that the poshos assume the wife-beating and bigotry is simply a cultural thing that he can't be entirely blamed for.
Liddle died at the perfect time to distract the TL from that absolute dogshit thread on 'consumerism' being the true evil while poor old capitalists get a bad wrap. Such insulting BS.
Marmite need to rebrand quickly before they get likened to every dead cunt in the country.
Really think this is what irked me about him the most tbh. Just a very ugly writer with no real flair or stylistic quality, whose outsized influence in the industry was also indicative of rock bottom standards and scrape-the-barrel prose

I for onw saw genuine warmth from Liddle. Cooled down soon after though and then we handed his ashes back to the family.

'Oh would you like it if people talked like this about you when you die?' Well they won't will they? I'm nowhere near that evil. If someone laughed at me dying and justified it with 'oh he was rude about me when I was being racist' you'd think that person was an unhinged weirdo (I.e Giles Coren)
