Saying you don’t β€œpay attention” to diversity when buying/reading books gives the same exact vibes as β€œI don’t see color”. Publishers and bookstores generally push white straight cis authors. You NEED to pay attention if you want to read diversely and get viewpoints outside your own experiences. πŸ“šπŸ’™
