TIL that pnpm supports `patchedDependencies` in its workspace file. This lets you point to a git patch, which then ensures the package code has some form of custom fix in it before it's been fixed upstream. This is for stubborn packages that take long too long to provide the fix.

Finally tried speaking to a Japanese friend today and it was as big of a car crash as I expected 😂. I am definitely weak on grammar, so I am going to front-load grammar studies and tone down new vocabulary (it keeps my study sessions reasonable).

I see tech YouTubers going into the BIOS when installing a new OS, when they could simply press the key that opens the one-time boot menu to boot from a different drive, saving the hassle of having to go back and change the boot order again later on.
