People belittle American sports, but having a beer at the game (whatever sport it is) is part of the culture there. I've experienced it at NBA & baseball games. The fans are (rightly) trusted to behave. And they do. Football fans in this country should be as well. You can't legislate for dickheads.

That Andy Carroll story about him being sexually assaulted in 2021 is horrific. Obviously, it’s horrific when it happens to anyone of any age & sexual identity, of course, but you seldom hear about it happening to male professional footballers. Brave of him to admit it.
Just watched an episode of Harry Hill's TV Burp... which contained jokes about Rolf Harris, Jimmy Savile & Huw Edwards. Needless to say, it hasn't aged at all well. It was still fucking funny though.

I had some worrying symptoms today but thankfully all ok. It was a busy day in A&E and I ended up waiting 5 hours, but this is far from a complaint…

Deary me, Chelsea have a very soft centre. They've been woeful.
Resident Evil was SO good. Gory as fuck. Utterly gonzo. Lot of humour in it. Some great jump scares. Really felt like being in a version of the video game, but with a main character who somehow manages to get from one situation to another by accident or design. Absolutely loved every second of it.
Just about to watch the new Resident Evil film… I’m well prepared…
If only Lord Percy had created an orb of purest green...
