"so quickly / it is like / everything has changed. / what was it before again?" a boy peacefully eats fruit in the grass. "Hop... do you think I'm still me?" Hop laughs at his friend's question. "haha what you on about!" "am I different?" "uh..." she sits with her knees tucked to her chest. "we've known each other since we were kids, but it's like... in such a short amount of time, so much has happened..." he watches her stare broodily into the grass. "and it's like... i kinda keep forgetting any of that was real? if that makes sense..." "hmm..." he grins lightly with a flourished point of the finger; "real quiet, then saying super spooky stuff outta nowhere...? yep, you're definitely still Jame!" a page of inked drawings of some little animals who are friends. one is like a sort of little stout weasel, she's very fluffy. another is of similar mass but long and skinny, like a furry lizard. the last is like if an otter was a type of small cow. the slinky one gnaws on wooden beads while clambering up coloured ropes, and wedges its snout under the hind legs of the small one, lifting her off the ground as she tries to get somewhere else. the big one continues this trend, using the back of a forepaw to scoop her off-kilter, much to her annoyance.
