Man, I love that there’s just.. a higher chance these days of meeting someone who knows anime than doesn’t (especially in my city). I met an intimidatingly beautiful, fashionable woman at a wedding reception and when I offhandedly mentioned anime she brought up Nana and Death Note as favorites 👌🏻
Don’t tell anyone I finished this wedding card like 10 minutes before I got picked up to go… #dinosaurs #illustration #acrylicmarkers
Time for some fall goodness. Also… way too much work for a single person living alone- why did I do this to myself? 😅
I can’t believe I forgot to include this in my Apothecary fanart post dump last week. Oh well, it is Apothecary Friday, so here it is! Thanks to @bwalker81.bsky.social for reminding me of it! #薬屋のひとりごと #薬屋FA

Apothecary Friday AND the second ep drop of Knights of Guinevere?? Sounds like a hot date alone on the couch tonight 😎
Weeb question- I see folks posting positively around the new Rayearth anime- what I want to know is, was the Rayearth manga completed? Is there a completed story? I just know that CLAMP made loads of really gorgeous manga with no endings. I never saw more than a few eps of the old show.
Two photos of things coming out of the ground from a neighborhood walk on Sunday. We’ve been having amazing fall weather.
My neck is kinda tight and painful today, and I was like- is this from my workout yesterday? No, it is because I worked on my little Apothecary Diary sicko fan animation on my iPad with terrible neck ergonomics for several hours late into the night like a goblin
The emotional wounds are split open and seeping today, but at least I found out I unexpectedly sold a surprising number of Nina books since moving them to the MediaOCD store this past quarter. So that's good...

Maaan I’ve been on a very tight budget lately, but I might breakdown and back the kickstarter for the latest Mr Lovenstein book, because he continues to pelt my timeline with banger after banger

One coffee before or around noon and I’m up past 2am. Cool stuff
It's always a little weird to return to an unfinished painting from... 5 months ago!! I'm trying sooo hard to mostly finish my vegetables (background) before getting to the meat and dessert (character). #workinprogress #artistwip
Large houseflies are somehow getting trapped between the screen and glass of my sliding doors (the only window in the room), which feels vaguely threatening and I can't open the window. :(
I feel like the majority of artists I follow or are friends/acquaintances with have kinks and predilections that are absolutely baffling to me, if not entirely off-putting, and you know what? Who cares. Live your best life. I can just keep scrolling by.
I’m 7 episodes into Draw This, Then Die. I love that Teshima sensei is a tsundere for manga. She’s such a fantastic character, but I may be biased since I am also a jaded, cynical middle-aged creative woman
A small sampling of Apothecary night! The new op and end are great, we’re back baby.. BUT- WTF were those subtitles, Crunchyroll?? The timing was egregiously bad and seemed like whole lines were missing! I hope they fix this
I had more sketches, but I don't know where the scans and photos went (they're probably on my phone, but I'm posting from my computer), but I had this one. 🐸🐸🐸 Okay, that's it, bye #theapothecarydiaires #fanart #jinmao #薬屋のひとりごと #薬屋FA
A sticker I sold out of at Anime Detour. I need to get this design up on my dusty neglected Redbubble store. Fan art 3 #theapothecarydiaires #fanart #jinmao #薬屋のひとりごと #薬屋FA
Obviously, I love their dog-and-cat-ness. More fan art. #theapothecarydiaires #fanart #jinmao #薬屋のひとりごと #薬屋FA
Waiting a few more hours for some friends to come over, and then we'll finally watch Apothecary Diaries season 3, ep1! I'm going to be obnoxious now and separately post all the mediocre fan art I've made!!
I am absolutely inundated with Michigan election spam on ym phone, and I haven't lived there for 18 years ☠️
