This is an asinine problem with a stupidly simple solution and the fact that we haven’t used it yet is an indictment of our entire system.

The Odyssey Reviewed in One Skeet: Epic but unfocused. Best parts start too late and end too early. Cool cast, costumes, and music. Sneaks in good digs at the chuds. May have worked better as a true fantasy adventure than a Nolan movie. 7/10. I hope they hand Elliot Page the Oscar just because.

In absolute terms? Home on the Range, but I was nine at the time and actually enjoyed it. The worst time I’ve had in a theater was probably Lightyear. That was the first time a movie put me to sleep.

This is the same dumb argument republicans use to claim any Black person with a job must be a DEI hire. In a diverse world with talented actors of all shapes, sizes, and colors, you don’t have to cast diverse actors “just for the sake of it”. You’ll find them naturally unless you’re trying not to.

There was a time when people were preemptively mourning this woman’s death because her books meant so much to them. Now, on the day she dies, millions of her former fans will just be overjoyed that she can’t hurt them anymore. I hope that’s the last thought she ever thinks.
