Making up a Weird Little Guy and then seeing somebody else draw your Weird Little Guy in their style is such an amazing part of being a furry.

Bringing my half-empty bottle of sweet coffee creamer to like any one of these fast food restaurants selling "dirty" sodas to see if they'll buy the remainder for $200, considering half a pump of that increases the value of a drink by $2+ somehow

If I had a $5 or 20 dollar bill for every time I found a $5 or 20 dollar bill lying on the sidewalk directly in front of the front door at work with no other people in sight, I'd have $25 Which I do, and it's weird that it happened twice

It is well-known that Mario is named after Nintendo of America's former landlord, Mario Segale. It has been discovered that his father, Louis Segale, was actually named Luigi before changing his name during immigration, making it an astounding coincidence that the real Mario's real father is Luigi.

Mario Segale (1934-2018) was a real estate developer and landlord of Nintendo of America's warehouse in 1981, famously being the inspiration for Mario's name. Minoru Arakawa, then president of Nintendo of America, reportedly named him after Segale because Segale was so reclusive that Arakawa did not know what he looked like.
It has been discovered in 2026 by genealogy researcher Elisabeth Zetland that Segale's father, Louis Segale, was actually born Luigi Maria Segale near Genoa in Italy, before changing his name to Louis during his immigration to the United States (adopting anglicized names being common among immigrants at the time).
One of the few known photos of Mario Segale
Since this fact has not been known until now, there is no way this could have factored into the naming of Luigi, but it is still immensely notable that the real-life Mario's father turned out to have been Luigi all along.

I never know if it's generally considered Okay to make some silly, joking context for whatever art piece in the comments I'm not trying to assert that it's *actually what's happening* but sometimes I get some goofy idea for what led up to/comes after what we're seeing and I wanna make a dumb joke

How the heck do sellers on AliExpress make any money Half the time I'm looking for miscellaneous electronics shit like this or that chip some seller has it as like a 5 pack for like 99 cents with free shipping from China And you actually do get the thing (eventually) and it works For 99 cents

Windows Update: "I AM ALTERING THE OS. PRAY I DON'T ALTER IT ANY FURTHER." Linux updates: "hey there's updates" [waits indefinitely] "cool, install" "here's what updated. are you sure?" "yes" "okay, stuff downloaded. are you suuuure?" "yes" "installed but there's more stuff are you su--" "YES"

I need a series with some super smug, suave, domineering pred telling Jai all the things they're gonna do to him and he just gets fed up and bites them and ragdolls them with the venom and storms off with the little angry scribbles over his head and that's just it end comic

god speaking of art I am still so not used to actually being able to Afford Nice Things artist I really like just opened slots for physical-media portrait sketches and I jumped on one and instantly recoiled like "woah, I can Just Do That??"

I am going to begin the long and arduous process of planning out uploading all my art to FA/etc It is the 30th time I have started to do so (and then got sidetracked and forgot about it until I eventually wiped my laptop and lost it) and I am becoming exceedingly efficient at it Wish me luck

You know, I can laugh along with a fair bit of the 'haha what a surprise Jai's getting eaten/put in places ~again~' teasing, but it's begun to become a constant chronic thing that's starting to make me actually hesitate to get more art or even talk about it in certain spaces???

It cracks me up when I see YCH's that are like, "Must be anthro [specific species]. Realistic patterns only. Will be wearing [pre-selected outfit]." like dude you've already decided what you're drawing and you're trying to get somebody to pay $400 for the right to say "thas me :3"
