It’s not like I thought highly of RFK Jr. before 2024 but I’m still struck by how much nothingness the past two years have shown that there is to him. Like not even a bad-but-consistent worldview. Just pure self indulgence.

Much as people would like to think the Cybertruck is failing because of its looks, I think it’s pretty clearly because there’s no market for it. All of the EV pickups have flopped and the Cybertruck is not a very good pickup, but it’s also not very good at anything else.

Been reading a lot about the DLC and more generally attempts to reorient Dems in the '80s and '90s and you can (and maybe should) disagree with the policy outcomes but you have to admire the level of coherence about strategy and vision which is not present today in any wing of the party
