Had a great time speaking with the Minnesota Corn Growers Association at Farmfest! We need a farm bill that finally delivers year-round E15 and harnesses the opportunity presented by sustainable aviation fuel and maritime fuel. Thanks for the great conversation and the great sweet corn ice cream!

It was good to meet my congressman for the first time today! We had a productive, civil dialogue at Farmfest about our views on important farm policy issues and I appreciated the chance to highlight why I believe I'd be able to deliver more for our rural communities in Congress.

So great to host a town hall meeting in Mankato tonight! Like all of our town halls, there was no screening of people or questions, so I’m truly grateful to the nearly 200 people who showed up to have their voice be heard!

On Tuesday in Blue Earth, I spoke about the importance of getting to universal healthcare so that everyone can access the care they need. Right now, our healthcare system is dominated by private health insurance companies that extract more and more profit while driving up costs higher and higher.

Had a superb time at the Wabasha Riverboat Days Parade this weekend shaking hands, then shaking hands, and finally wrapping up by shaking some more hands. I look forward to being back in Wabasha for our rescheduled public, in-person Wabasha County Town Hall on August 20!

Today I was endorsed by Reproductive Freedom For All, because I believe that private health decisions should be made between doctors and patients, not DC bureaucrats and health insurance companies.

Showing up everywhere, listening to everyone, and then going to Congress to actually work for the people of southern Minnesota should be the bare minimum for our congressman. That's how I intend to serve in Congress.

We had a fantastic town hall last night at Sylvan Brewing in Fillmore County. It became standing room only and we had to overflow into the hallway!

When we announced this campaign 467 days ago, most people thought we didn’t have a chance. They looked at our "Safe R" district, chuckled, and wrote us off as an earnest but doomed attempt.

I'm disappointed that Brad Finstad voted to take funding from SNAP, Medicaid, and rural healthcare and give it to billionaires and corporate donors. And the math in that bill was SO bad that it added more than $4 trillion to the national debt.

It was great to meet with over a dozen small business owners and operators this morning in Lanesboro. I heard about how expensive and inaccessible healthcare gets in the way of their ability to thrive, and how the rising cost of living is holding them back.

It was so great to get together with folks in Lake City earlier this week! I’m enjoying taking every opportunity I can to share our campaign’s message of making life cheaper and easier in southern Minnesota.

We just held our sixth public, in-person town hall meeting in Austin. I spent a productive hour with folks answering questions about topics like protecting Social Security, reducing U.S. involvement in foreign conflicts, and getting back to a Congress that actually does the work of the people.

We just crossed $2 million raised! And crucially we did it the grassroots way: no corporate PAC money, over 32,000 individual donations, and 93% of contributions were $100 or less.

We'll be in Blue Earth (the town) next Tuesday for our Faribault (the county) Town Hall! It'll be held at Ten Talents Center from 6-7pm, and it's open to everyone who wants to come ask questions and let me know how I can best serve your communities. Excited to see you there!

It feels like Groundhog Day: for the second morning in a row, southern Minnesotans are waking up to news of sweeping new tariffs that will raise costs for us, while Brad Finstad and the rest of Congress refuse to fulfill their constitutional duty to set tariff policy for our nation.

Things are already way too expensive, and these new 50% tariffs on Canada last night will only make things worse. It's way past time for Brad Finstad and Congress to actually do their job and set tariff policy like the Constitution says they should.

We almost suffered a campaign-ending mistake the last couple days. Between walking in the Bavarian Blast Parade yesterday and holding our fifth public town hall tonight in St. James, we completely forgot about National Ice Cream Day yesterday.

We just wrapped up a fantastic town hall meeting in St. James that was open to everyone, where I spent an hour answering unscreened questions on a range of topics including term limits, investing in education, and making healthcare affordable and accessible.
