What is the point of having a rehearsal schedule if you're A not even gonna follow it half the time, and B when you make changes, you don't edit the actual document, you just make a post in the FaceBook group that gets immediately burried and then blame people for not turning up.

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw this many Butterflies and Bees while out walking. The world is truly healing.

The standard in the industry is that for a film to break even, it has to double its production budget to cover stuff like marketing (even though marketing is non existent these days.) So what is Disney actually doing? Who is handling these finances to a point that nealry $400 million is not enough?

Pixar has been hit the hardest on Disney’s round of layoffs. TheWrap reports that ‘Hoppers’ is partially being blamed for the layoffs as the film was shy of breaking even at the box office after making $389.5M against a $150M budget.

Why does this always happen moments after they release a box office record-breaking sequel? Isn't the entire point of making those to avoid exactly this?!

15 years ago today, Disney’s last 2D animated theatrical feature film ‘Winnie The Pooh’ released in theaters.

Thinking about that moment back in 2022 when I had my palm read (I was with a group of people, and we all decided to do it), and she told me she saw both America and Canada in my future. And now I fly to America every May for Momocon and am seriously considering moving to Canada in a few years.

So now that the Moana remake has fallen below expectations, how about we put the Tangled remake back on ice and KEEP IT THERE THIS TIME!

Turns out I have greatly overestimated the actual cost of moving to another country. After doing research, turns out it’s a fraction of what I thought (not counting savings which is my main focus now.) I thought getting out of the UK by 35 was gonna be a long shot, but it’s actually very doable.

Now we need to know their thoughts on the Bee Movie

I still haven’t seen Toy Story 5, but with them talking about how 6 will be the end of the Bonnie trilogy, I got to thinking. How funny would it be if 6 opens and all of Bonnie’s original toys are just gone the same way the minor characters from 1 & 2 were written out in 3.

Someone at Box Office Mojo input the Minions & Monsters Friday tally as $16 billion instead of $16 million and now all the all-time charts look crazy.

So apparently part of the new internet laws in the UK is prioritising traditional broadcasts (news shows) on recommendations and home feeds on social media. Outlets that already have way too much power and control in this country. Yep. That’s not deeply concerning what so ever!

"Feels like it was made by AI" becoming a synonym for "a movie I didn't like" is actually really bad for discourse, and helps normalise AI in the long term. Stop it.
