I have been working away on the zine version of my games Sorts. A letter tile, spell casting rpg This game was formerly called SPELLZ! But someone made me aware of a game called Spell: The RPG which is very similar. I reached out to its creator @whimsymachine.bsky.social who was really encouraging

I recently ran a dungeon crawl actually using dungeon turns and damn are the grognards (I say this affectionately) onto something. I always worried it would slow things down and make it feel restrictive but damn was I wrong. It really helps pace and helps me run more dynamically. #dungeon #osr

The player characters and NPCs and map I drew for a new campaign, Stone’s Rest. A fantasy campaign that takes place in a post apocalypse, the players are all from a small walled village that no one has left in generations. Why did the world fall? Who were the before-folk? What’s really out there?

This die has been the best tool I have added to my GM kit. I use it in any system I play. Anytime a player asks a question about something I didn’t plan. I usually have the player themselves roll it. It has created some wonderful moments. I really recomend adding it to your kit. #gmadvice #gmtools
