OMG Did you all know about `npx @eslint/config-inspector@latest `? and nobody told me? anyway - run that in folder where you have your eslint config file. so cool right?
If you upgraded recently to eslint v9 (We recently did at Buffer!) and could not make ht `eslint-plugin-no-type-assertion` plugin to work. There is more 'native' way to achieve that: '@typescript-eslint/consistent-type-assertions': [ 'error', { assertionStyle: 'never', }]` Happy (not) asserting!
The way I like to think about `undefined` vs `null` in JS: I use `null` when I want to intentionally `delete` something and leave `undefined` to the language. This work for me, and I get fewer surprises. Do you like to differentiate between null and undefined? Let me know!
