There’s plenty wrong with every platform holder, but I have to respect Nintendo’s relentless ability to release games. We’re talking ten a year, every year, since Nintendo Switch launched, with a variety of budget and scale.
Hey, so now I'm playing Tetris 99, I totally get the complaints about the D-Pad on both the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller -- anyone recommend me a better alternative? I can't use the SNES controller as I need "full" Switch buttons for the targeting system.
Even though I'm quite bad at it, every time I turn on Tetris 99 I have a great time. I should do it more often.

I genuinely think Sony hopes players will either: A) Increase adoption of PlayStation Plus to access (some) of their now unplayable, legacy disc games. B) Buy their games again digitally on PlayStation Store. I genuinely do not see any form of disc drive being compatible with PlayStation 6.

I think in hindsight, a leading cause for me being a “Wii U apologist” in the era is the fact it was the first console where I was buying everything myself (and therefore I had way more games than I’d ever had previously). Perceptually, it felt solid, but now, comparatively, less so.
I think it's safe to say the Gunman Clive games from @bertilhorberg.bsky.social are now in my "gaming comfort food" category. Lovely games, do recommend.

I really wish Level 5 would bring the Professor Layton games to modern platforms.
I was able to get a Steam Deck (512GB, LCD) for a really good price on eBay. Spent the day trying it out. I’ve had a Gaming PC (2016-2022) but honestly rarely used it for gaming, and left Windows behind completely when I got my next machine.
My early impressions with the original Evercade are positive. The only context I had are reviews at launch in 2020. It appears a lot of work has gone into improving the experience, and that original hardware wasn’t left behind along the way. I’m now very excited for my Nexus!
