Public opinion doesn't DO anything and is not correlated with policy. BUT it can be a resource if people want to organize.

One thing that I believe is that the wrong punishment for Manchester City is a points deduction or relegation. The correct punishment is that the team is seized from the current ownership, auctioned off, and that the execs involved in the malfeasance are banned for life.

Yeah, it's wild how Mamdani has earned trust from his supporters that he's not selling them down the river and Jeffries hasn't. Must be because progressives (who Jeffries doesn't support) hold them to different standards for reasons that will forever remain elusive
